It may come as a surprise that the waters surrounding Timor-Leste are full of marine life. A new country born from violent conflict, there is a contrasting serenity to be found beneath Timor's waves. Most dive sites are shore dives, accessible by vehicle from Timor-Leste's capital city Dili. Favourite dive sites included Dili Rock and K41.
