This is a first tryout to film the fluorescence during a night dive using blue lights. It was most of all getting used to diving in the dark with a yellow mask. An exciting experience to gaze at a familiar underwater world which has now a completely different look.
It took me a bit to get used to look around with the yellow mask for fluorescent marine life and start to film without the mask, since the yellow filter on the lens compensates the blue light. But I adapted very soon and started to enjoy.
It was a very interesting first try and I definitely would like to do it again. The high ISO setting makes the images a bit noisy, but I think I can bring the ISO down on a next dive.
A big thanks to Ryan Canon of Reef Photo & Video who made this experience possible.
