Cat Island May 2014 - GH4 Demo Reel... Five days at Cat with Oceanic Whitetip sharks (Carcharhinus longimanus) and the GH4 in a Nauticam NA-GH3 housing with modification. Shot in 4K and 1080p Variable Frame rate. Panasonic 7-14mm and 8mm lenses. Keldan LUNA 8 lights with cyan or cri heads. Oceanic Whitetips are amazing sharks, and really my favorite to be in the water with. They are smart, and have an amazing array of senses that lets them find food in the vast open ocean. But, they are being hunted in huge numbers, and are listed as "vulnerable" worldwide and "critically endangered" in the Northwest and Western Central Atlantic. In some places, 98% of the population has been wiped out.
