Trip slideshow / video from the January 22 - February 2, 2012 Wetpixel
Expedition to the Eastern Fields of Papua New Guinea (trip 2). We had
only 6 days of diving in the Eastern Fields due to the arrival of two
large storm systems, which forced us to return to Port Moresby early.
Dive conditions in the Eastern Fields were very good (high currents =
great fish activity), but diving closer to the coast proved to be not
very productive (storm conditions reduced visibility considerably).
Trip 1 had perfect conditions: flat seas and almost no wind. Alas, I was not aboard for that one.
