The tanker HENRY DESPREZ was completed in the 1932 by the Danish shipyard Burmeister & Wain for the Compagnie auxiliaire de navigation. On the 26th November 1942 it was in the Toulon harbor during the scuttling of the French navy. It was later taken over by the German government. On 3rd June 1943 she was torpedoed and sank by the British submarine HMS UNRUFFLED in front of Fiumefreddo Bruzio (Italy) goo.gl/maps/uzjny

The wreck lies under 75m/246ft of water in upward position.
With its length of 150m/492ft, after the oil tanker HAVEN, it's the 2nd biggest divable wreck in Italian waters.
